Ludgers Electrolytes Gel

Ludgers N Electrolyte Gel effectively balances electrolyte and vital substance loss, which can be caused by heavy sweating, stress or diarrhoea. The dextrose and glycine contained in the gel promote sodium absorption. Only one injector of 60 ml compensates the total loss of chloride, sodium, potassium and magnesium from 2.5 liters of sweat. Application Electrolytes Gel: for efforts with loss of sweat in case of fluid loss (e.g. during diarrhoea) after long transports after the birth of foals.

Feeding recommendation

Enter the contents of an injector deep into the mouth after exertion or transport. Fresh water must always be available to the horse.

Endurance sports: Due to the high concentration of mineral salts, the gel should not be administered on the same day of an endurance ride. If the horse does not drink enough during the event, the administration of Ludger N Electrolyte Gel may aggravate dehydration in the organism. In such a case, a flow of water into the digestive tract is triggered. On such a day, the gel should be administered diluted only with a lot of water. A bucket of fresh water must be placed directly next to it.
