Ludgers Supplement "Electrolytes Fluid"
The food supplement "Electrolytes Liquid" by Ludgers is ideal to quickly and effectively compensate the electrolyte- and vital substance loss of the horse after heavy sweating, stress or diarrhoea. This can be caused by moderate or intensive exertion in training or at tournaments, by fluid loss due to e.g. diarrhoea, after long transports or by birth. The dextrose and glycine contained in the feed promote sodium absorption. A dose of already 50 ml compensates the total loss of potassium, chloride, sodium and magnesium from 1 1/2 liters of sweat.

feeding recommendation
The supplement can either be added to the drinking water or to the feed. Alternatively, it can be administered directly into the horse's mouth with a syringe. The horse should always have access to fresh water. For an ideal regeneration after intensive use, it is recommended to give the horse the same dose for futher 2-3 days. After an endurance ride, it is important to ensure that the electrolytes are diluted with sufficient water - in addition to the usual bucket of fresh water - and administered at the same day.
