Unika Barleyton

The Barleyton supplementary feed by Unika is a supplementary feed for horses. The Barleyton can be used to maintain the physiological and natural conditions of the horse's intestine. In case of accelerated intestinal transit, Barleyton may prove useful as a support. The additive consists of a mixture of roasted cereals, which absorbs excess intestinal fluids physiologically after ingestion. Thanks to the increased contact surface of the roasted rice, it has an absorbent and antifermentative effect on the intestines. The raw materials used have an anti-diarrheal effect and regulate the horse's appetite, by improving the digestive processes and the absorption of nutrients. The supplement also contains dry extract of silybum marianum, which is said to improve the condition of liver cells. The contained silymarin has a detoxifying effect on the liver.

Feeding recommendation

• foal: 55-60 correspond to 1/2 scoop
• large horse: 100-110 g correspond to 1 scoop
• introduce gradually into the diet
• feed for at least 30 consecutive days
• simply add to the daily feed ration
