Ludgers Starter Gel

Ludgers N Starter Gel provides a concentrated nutrient supply for foals after birth and in the first year of life. The vitamins and trace elements contained in the gel cover the daily requirements of a foal for several days, as they are stored in the liver. The ingredients are quickly available for the organism. The natural fluctuations in the nutrient composition in mare's milk are balanced. The contained vitamin D is involved in bone mineralization and supports the absorption of calcium into the bones. Due to the supporting effect of vitamin A, which is involved in protein synthesis, the development of the tendon apparatus is influenced. Furthermore, this vitamin is involved in bone formation and forms an important component of the body's immune defense. Other ingredients such as B vitamins, iron and manganese are essential for energy metabolism and influence the activation of the metabolism. Furthermore, vitamin B12 is involved in the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin E and C as well as organic selenium are important biological antioxidants that help protect muscle cells and support regeneration. Feeding recommendation

For a foal with an expected final weight of 500 kg or more, feed the contents of an injector a few hours after birth and on the 3rd and 6th day of life. If necessary, a further injector can be administered every 10 days thereafter.

For pony foals with an expected final weight of 300 kg, the content of half an injector is sufficient.
