Gustav Optenplatz Special Hoof Balm
The Special Hoof Balm from Gustav Optenplatz is the colorless version of the Hoof Balm. It is ideal for attacked and damaged problem hooves. Due to the fact that the hoof balm becomes liquid due to the hoof's own heat, the active ingredients can penetrate into the capillaries in contrast to conventional hoof balms. Loose horn walls are thus consolidated and thrush as well as hoof cracks are prevented. The hoof balm contains, among other things, special essential oils and pro vitamin B5. To use, simply clean the hoof sole, frog and horn capsule with a brush. Then apply the hoof balm to the hoof sole, frog and horn capsule with a brush. The crown margin should be left out. The hoof balm is suitable for daily use as needed.
Instructions for use
- Clean the hoof sole, frog and horn capsule with a brush
- Apply hoof balm to the hoof sole and frog with a brush
- Also coat the horn capsule with hoof balm, leaving out the crown rim
- For daily use as needed
