EquiAirbag Guard

The USG EquiAirbag-Guard is the perfect combination of back protector and EquiAirbag. It is equipped with a back and front airbag and still guarantees optimal freedom of movement. As the EquiAirbag Guard works via a CO2 cartridge, it offers a particularly fast complete protection for the spine and the front of the body. The EquiAirbag is activated by hooking the carabiner fastener onto the right front ring of the saddle immediately after getting on the horse. If higher forces are applied or if a fall occurs, the flexible spiral cable triggers the integrated airbag completely mechanically. The rider is no longer directly connected to the horse, as the release cable separates from the airbag when activated. To prevent accidental activation, the cable must also be disconnected from the saddle before the rider gets off the horse. The EquiAirbag can easily be recharged after a fall if there is no damage. The USG EquiAirbag-Guard is certified according to EN 1621-2 and EN 1621-4 (EAB).

Note: Detaching the cable by applying higher force activates the built-in bolt and thus the airbag. Always read the instructions before use.
