- integrated hinge arm features a two-stage release system that prevents accidental opening
- spring-loaded arm locks into the base of the main frame, which means that the weight is evenly distributed across the stirrup so that the outside does not fall off and bend
- when pressure is applied to the stirrup arm, the arm releases, allowing the foot to come out of the stirrup and not get stuck
- release force of the stirrup arm is equivalent to 3.62 kg, which means enough resistance to prevent accidental opening
