Trust Driving Bit Liverpool Sweet Iron, Low Port

The Liverpool driving curb bit by Trust is a bit with movable sides and a straight bar with a small bulge in the middle. The curb bit has 3 slots, so you can decide for yourself, depending on the position of the driving lines, whether you want a large or small leverage. The curvature at the mouthpiece takes the pressure from the center of the tongue and distributes it evenly. Thanks to the special coating, when this bit comes in contact with moisture, it develops a surface rust. This rust tastes sweet to horses and serves to increase saliva production, which significantly increases the acceptance of the bit. The horse also begins to foam more and the jaw becomes much more relaxed. Depending on handling and buckling, the bit has a very strong impact and should therefore only be used by experienced hands.

Note: If not used, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
