Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham Arched

This Baby Pelham is a model by Trust which has a slightly forward curved bar as the mouthpiece. The arching creates more space for the tongue and the pressure is distributed over the entire tongue. This mouthpiece has a sharper effect than the single or double broken standard mouthpiece. The Baby Pelham Side Piece combines the action of a curb and snaffle, but can be ridden with either one or two reins. It is also much easier to use than a double bridle as there is only one mouthpiece and side piece. When used with two reins, the lower one provides the leverage and the upper one the supple connection between the horse's mouth and the rider's hand. Thanks to the special Sweet Iron alloy, salivation and acceptance is naturally improved as surface rust develops on contact with moisture, which tastes sweet to horses.

Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
