Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham French Link

This Baby Pelham French Link is made by Trust and combines the effects of a curb and snaffle, but is much easier to use because there is only one side and mouth piece. In addition, the rider can decide individually whether to ride with one or two reins. For correct use with one rein, a pelham strap is necessary, which is not included in the delivery. The mouthpiece of this baby pelham is a special variant of the double-broken bit, because it has an eight-shaped plate in the middle. Thanks to this plate, even pressure is exerted on the tongue and the mouthpiece is shaped more towards the mouth. The recognisable blue colour is the so-called Sweet Iron alloy, which forms sweet-tasting surface rust for horses when it comes into contact with moisture, making the mouthpiece much more acceptable and stimulating the flow of saliva in a natural way. The Baby Pelham is ideal for horses that need to get used to a double bridle. This bit is also very suitable for horses that do not have enough room in their mouth for two mouthpieces.

Note: When not in use, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece. This can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
