Trust Sweet Iron Kimblehook Cherry Roller
The Kimblehook by Trust is a type of jumping curb bit, but has a milder action and is ridden with a rein. The rein can be attached in different positions so that the rider can decide individually how the bit should act. The further down the rein is attached, the stronger the leverage. The mouthpiece consists of loose rollers and has a hinge point. The rollers prevent the bit from sticking, and it can also stimulate tongue activity so that the jaws are more likely to relax. The rollers have a Sweet Iron alloy which oxidises on contact with moisture and forms surface rust. Rust tastes sweet to most horses, which greatly increases the acceptance of the bit.
Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
