Trust Sweet Iron Pony Full Cheek Bit, Jointed

This pony full cheek bit by Trust is a single-broken model which is specially adapted to the anatomy of the pony's mouth. The side piece consists of long shanks and a fixed ring to attach the rein. This puts more pressure on the cheeks so that the pony is supported in stance and bend. The mouthpiece is a standard mouthpiece with a hinge that distributes the pressure to the interdental space, the corners of the mouth and the sides of the tongue. The recognisable blue colour is the so-called sweet iron alloy, which forms surface rust when it comes into contact with moisture or saliva. This rust tastes sweet to most ponies, so the bit is very well received and accepted. The rust also stimulates saliva production and chewing activity in a natural way. The thigh bit is ideal for young ponies and those that have problems with stance and bend.

Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
