Product description

HS Sprenger HO Curb Bit with Rotating Side Parts and Long Tangs

The HO Riding Curb Bit by HS Sprenger has a forward sloping tongue clearance that transitions with soft transitions into beveled, side bit parts. The pressure is thus distributed over the entire tongue and the sense of touch is optimally used. This enables a particularly fine and precise application of aids. The curb bit allows neck pressure without increasing the pressure on the tongue. Since the mouthpiece and the side pieces move independently of each other, the curb bit cannot tilt due to one-sided rein aids. This curb bit is particularly well suited for slowly and safely familiarizing the horse with the curb bit. The beveled mouthpiece promotes harmony between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth and promises a relaxed approach to the curb. The material Sensogan is alloyed with copper, zinc and manganese, which oxidizes slowly. The oxidation releases a sweet taste, which stimulates the horse to chew and increases salivation. This increases the acceptance of the bit. Sensogan is a well tolerated material, which is also suitable for sensitive horses.

Properties

  • Sensogan with stainless steel sides
  • pole bit

  • since the horse's mouth is narrower at the point where the snaffle is buckled, the snaffle should usually be 0.5 cm to 1.0 cm smaller than the bridle
  • the sides of the snaffle should be close to the corners of the mouth
  • the curb chain should be buckled in such a way that the curb can be accepted up to 45°
